This week’s sessions (w/c 13th Feb)

Hi all, form for this week is up! Just one this week on Tuesday, which will be intervals at Rail College (no social so far, we will update the form if anyone decides to take that on.)

Please remember to put your name down if you’re coming.

A reminder that it’s Azza’s away run on Thursday, meeting at the Foresters Arms at 6:30pm. Parking can be a bit tight, please don’t be late! The location and route are shown below and you can click the link below the elevation graph to download the gpx file.

It’s a similar route as before for those who can remember it. We will run down to the trail along the new cycle lane. Switch on head torches and make our down the trail to Broddy pit top, where we will take in the lovely view (in the dark!) when we get to the top. We will make our way back to the Foresters to tuck into a homemade chip butty.

In terms of group we will be having 2 groups with hope to put another one on depending on numbers! Meet for 6.30ish to leave at 6.45. Let’s make this another great event

Club kit shop now open!

The club shop is open again if anyone wants to order a T-shirt or a zip-up training top (hoody)

Please note:
The shop is open until 17th February, after that date all orders will be sent into production.
There will be an approximate lead time of 4-6 weeks for delivery.
T-shirts – the sizing are smaller than expected, so please ask Lynn if you’re wanting to order, she has an L and XL you can try for size, but we advise going one size bigger than you think.
Hoodies – these have a zip, we have samples of the hoodies at the hub if you’d like to try for sizing before placing your order.
Vests – We hold a stock of club vests at the hub (£25)

If you’re after a new vest or wanting to try the hoodies for size before ordering – please message or speak to Julie or Jim on a club night.

This week’s sessions (w/c 6th Feb)

Hi everyone, forms for this week are up! Please remember to stick your name down if you’re coming to any of the sessions.

Tuesday: Social with Jo and Mick or;
Intervals at Rail College, which will be 20 * (30 second efforts with a float recovery at around target marathon pace (or your usual Thursday social group pace))

Thursday: R7R – good opportunity to step up if you want to push a steady run this week, since it’s one of the shorter routes (~5.8 miles).

Tuesday’s social run will be with Jo, on a road route measuring around 6 miles, with a cut short if needed.
The interval session will be ~2km give or take from the Rail College.

Thursday’s route is R6R.
