Club Nights

Posts relating to club nights (Tuesday/Thursdays)

This week’s sessions (w/c Aug 1st)

Hi everyone, forms are up for this week, please remember to book on.

Tuesday will be either a social with Michael or an interval session from the Rail College with Nick.

David John is funding himself through LIRF training and has asked for our help in filming two 5 minute videos in order to get him qualified.

We will be looking for volunteers from the people doing the Rail College session and will set aside 10 minutes to film this from there before the main session starts. It won’t be compulsory, but if you’re attending that session, please do your bit and take part.

Thursday’s route is M10, which is nearly 7.5 miles. There are cut shorts available on this route, please ask your leader if you think you’ll need them, or drop down a group or two and take it easier.

Lots happening this week!

Quick reminder for you of this week’s events. Usual Club Training session on Tuesday, meeting at the Dome for either Nick’s session or Amanda’s social (don’t forget The Killers are playing at the Eco Power Stadium, so it’s likely to be very busy on the roads).

On Wednesday it’s the last in this year’s Road League series at Penistone.

Thursday sees Anthony Kerrigan’s away run taking place, starting at Hayfield Lakes.

Finally, on Saturday there is the meeting for prospective Chairpersons at the Icebreaker in the Dome at 3pm. If you want to find out more about the role feel free to pop along and speak with the Committee. There’s no obligation to attend, or apply, but if you are thinking about it and you have the time spare then you can get answers to any questions you might have.

The details for all these events can be found on the Calendar page.
